About

Leadership and development professional Nathaniel Duncan and his wife, Ann, have devoted themselves to others throughout their careers. Nathaniel Duncan twice served as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, spending 2002 to 2004 in Guinea before returning to Togo, West Africa, in 2008 for another two-year volunteer position as an environmental educator. He leverages this background to inform his leadership role as the general manager of a Patagonia store in Palo Alto, California, where he leads the professional development of 30 employees while overseeing all daily operations.

Nathaniel Duncan earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Kutztown University before going on to receive master’s degrees in international relations from Boston University and educational leadership from the Queens University of Charlotte. A certified outdoor educator from the National Outdoor Leadership School, he holds membership in the Association for Experiential Education.
